VIA COLOMBIA.
I still get notes from people expressing their fond sentiments regarding the music of The Elms. Today, I received this very nice letter via FB from a guy called Manuel who lives in Colombia. I love the language divide. For some reason, a note like this would be much less interesting/charming to me if written in perfect English.

Hi Owen, I send you greetings from Colombia. I am a big fan of your music and the Elms. I remember I started to listen to your music since I saw the video of “Hey, Hey” on Link TV channel, from that when I began to dig more and more music, and at this time became my favorite band.
Here in Colombia it is difficult to get music from you, the only two albums I have (Big Surprise and The Chess Hotel), I had to send to bring from USA. Here in Colombia can only be achieved by various artists compilations that include songs from The Elms. However, this is no bar to hear his music, I am always very aware of hearing from you and whenever I can, get others to listen to their music and many people liked his music. I have some shirts printed with pictures of you and I love wearing them.
Finally, I want to send a warm hug to you and the guys really do a wonderful music that makes the heart beat.
